    [Dead] FADED COPIES - At the Top (Canon IR 2520)

    hello everyone,

    i am experiencing a serious problem with Canon ir 2520.
    whenever i copy/print, the copier gives out FADED PRINT-OUTS at the top

    since i have more than one copier with the same model number, i have done things like;
    - Changing the drum unit,
    - changing fixing unit,
    - changing developing unit, but all can't solve my problem.

    please help,

    MOSES

            Yes the laser glass there should be a rod with a pad on the end of it.
            We really need a picture of the fault with an indication of the direction of travel of the paper.

            he said re-seat as in take it out blow on it and put it back in the hole it came out of.... not re-set the ROM.

                Faint Photocopies (Ricoh Aficio MP 3352 SP)

                how are you doing guys?

                i am working on Ricoh Aficio MP 3352SP copier, and this is what it does;

                copying = Faint
                Printing = good quality

                Since the printing is okay, i don't think that it is a developing or drum unit.
                i have tried to change copying modes but it is only the "pale" at a maximum density can give me a fair quality copy

                what could be the problem?
                please help.

                    My Advise: If printing is clear and copying is faded, you may have to locate and clean your laser unit and mirrors in your scanner unit
                    .
