    [Misc] IRAC2030 Not Booting Up - Please Wait

    Hi all,

    I've got an irac2030 that is stuck at the boot up screen (see pic) & I cant get into service mode.

    I booted up in safe mode & reinstalled the firmware from a usb drive, but after this installed & the machine restarted it is still stuck on the start up screen.

    I removed & cleaned the memory, re seated the connections, no luck.

    I'm thinking the HDD has failed, any ideas????

    Replace the DIMMS

    ADVANCE C2030 / C2020
    Machine is stuck in wait at power on. Rebooting the machine will not clear the wait screen.


    On the Main controller 1 there are two dimms, re_seating the dimm resolved the lock up of the machine being stuck in wait.
    The part number for the dimm is FK2-8341-000

    Also re_seat the dimms located on Main Controller 2 if needed.
    The part number for the dimm is FM4-3146-000 or replace dimms if needed.
    **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

      Thanks for the info, we've got a spare 2030 i'll remove the DIMS from it to test.

      If I do end up swapping the HDD will the customer loose their addressbook?

        No the address book is stored on the main controller.
