I want your help to solve the problem with canon ir2530i that jammed only when making two sided (duplex) from cassette 1,2 A4,A3 but one sided works good .THE JAM CODE IS 0105 , 0107 . your rapid answer very important i send a picture of jam

Have a look on the top guide. There should be 2 small sticky pads that hold up the guide. When these get work the guide sits too low and jams on duplex but works fine on simplex.

First of all make sure that your papers is not wet,change the papers ,then check if its jaming on a3 or a4r,since a few weeks i faced a problem only in the double side a4 in all casettes the papers prints/copy around 2 documents the. A white paper exit and then jammed it was thr duplex clutch i replace it and now its working in a very good condition .

There is a duplex motor and pcb that drives it. I've had a few back when they first come out that had the exact same issue, duplex jamming and working great simplex. The motor and pcb fix the issue.

Does it jam every time on duplex or will some 2nd side copies pass ok?

If the fault is intermittent open a new pack of paper & try that, b/w Canon's have never been good at feeding damp or poor quality paper when running duplex.

In you picture it is the guide that is at the top of the picture the top side of the paper. There are 2 bits of plastic that stick out, one on each end, and underneath them they have a bit of sponge this wears out over time and this can cause this fault.
Canon have a part number for this bit of felt, but any kind of one sided sticky felt or sponge will do the job.

first it passes 2nd side copies after that the m/c makes jam

i changed the duplex clutch with stackbypass clutch and the machine works good . thanks for your help
