IRC3480 Blank Copies

We had a tech go out and he misdiagnosed the problem for blank copies and prints. We put 2 brand new sets of drums units in the machine as well as a new Transfer Belt Assembly and the machine continues to spit out blank pages.

There are no error codes. The machine still scans to PC/Email correctly. The drums and transfer belt are all turning. We made marks on them all and the marks are moving. What could be the issue with the blank pages?

If you stop the machine in a run, is there any image on the ITB or drums?

Transfer belt and drums have the image when a run is stopped. Thanks for the reply!

Ok so you can rule or the laser & drum & itb drive.

I'd say you have a transfer issue, check the contact pin on the front end of the 2nd transfer roller, check its not missing or snapped etc

Is there any image on the copy at all even very faint?

The page is completely blank. Even the sky shot is blank. Test prints printed from service mode are blank as well.

We will check the 2nd transfer roller and contracts when we go back. We will probably take that entire assembly with us.

Yes if you have the luxury of a spare machine take the complete process unit, 5 minute fix hopefully!

If that does fix it, the faulty item could be HV2 this sits above the ITB

Check the contact for external secondary transfer roll on the door....it breaks...
