Hi all, im not a canon tech so not sure how to test motors in service mode. I have this machine making humming vibrating sound mostly with 1-3 copies/prints. It seems to go away with multiple runs. I cant tell where its coming from and would like to run some motors, just not sure how to . Thanks

Re: Canon IRC5045 advance noises
The fuser on this model can make some strange sounds, replacing the fixing film unit, pressure roller & bearings usually quieten them down.Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

Re: Canon IRC5045 advance noises
I agree with Copier Tech, fuser belt is the usual noise suspect for me, especially the humming/vibrating noise.
Motors are tested in Copier>Function>Partchk inside service mode, but there are several they say not to run, M1, M14 and M22.
