I have SST v4.22 software and Firmware 2200_2800_3300 v45.01 but i m not sure whether it is working or not.

Then go find it elsewhere. It's not available here for people to just pop in, grab it and then never come back till they need something else. That kind of person is called a 'leech' and is frowned upon here.

i have a canon irc 3880f from japan and it came with a japaneese
language on screen, i asked them to send me an english hard drive.
i got the drive but now my machine wont switch on it just warms up and the screen
stays blank, i replaced the old hard drive but still no joy.

It may be set to OFF to prevent below



put back the original HDD &
TRY this first

Press: * Additional Function key
Press: Common Settings
Press: The up/down arrows until (Language Switch) appears.
Press: Language Switch
Press: On
Press: Arrow keys up/down to display desired Language/Select English
Press: Done

Note: If the improper Language still comes up turn the machine off and back on.


if not able to do above>
get into service mode to check below items>

SERVICE MODE
press Additional Functions Key (once)
press #2 & 8 key at the same time (release both)
then press Additional Functions Key again (release it)

go here-----------
COPIER>DISPLAY>VERSION
look & see if ENGLISH is loaded in Firmware ver.

if listed> go into>
COPIER>OPTION>BODY>CONFIG
This selects the multiple firmware programs held on the hard disk, and selects the unit's country, language, destination and sheet size series.
Attention:
The settings take effect after the main power switch has been set to OFF and then back to ON.
