I have a a few of these machines around that need some answers. I have updated two of them to 8.01 and have read all the info and tech pub about this and the adjustment that is supposed to help. TP07 280d or whatever already studied.
On one machine the stapling did not improve. May work some other way but not the standard top left corner.
The second machine was spitting out the first sheet of paper too far but then stapling and staking the rest of the sets alright and it was putting staples in them! I thought OK I will update this one and a small adjustment should cure. The first machine started out this way too but got worse before and after the update. Second machine result = Not good! After the update, the top left corner skew is worse and most of the time I am getting NO STAPLE.
The third machine is an offlease parts machine. Some other tech at some point updated the finisher to 8.1. The same problem is seen here with the upper top left almost giving no staple to a 3 sheet set. The KICKER is this. It does staple fine in other orientations and locations. Second Kicker, it stacks the paper PERFECT. Two of these machine are in shop for study. ??????????Is this the time when the whole board needs junked or is there a trick or lesson here to be learned????
