HI I posted here for lack of options available.
Canon DR G1130. See attached images for reference. first image is a 3 x 5" doc and second is letter size
simplex scan problem that primarily shows up with small documents, solid fill. Was able make adjustments in setting that curbed most of the similar extra imaging on letter size and some narrow line quality scan documents.
does not do it on duplex side. I can select punch hole removal in image processing and it will add this to most all documents. found a few settings that will effect the issue one way or the other but sure it just masks whats going on. worked on many DR series over the years and have not run across this one.
I am told that a second G1130 may be having a similar issue so going to go look soon.
using Capture perfect 3.0, latest firmware updated
