C4080 Canon with 216k B\W 11K Color

A company one of my friends work's for is looking for a color with Z fold on Craig's list. I don't think any copier does the Z fold but how well does the C 4080 work? Any major worry's? I am a K-Mita Tech but work on a little of every brand. It is $ 800.00 and full boat

You need to avoid that model for sure, when the fuser unit fails you usually need to replace the complete unit, these cost around $800! (so the cost you paid for the complete machine)

Also the drum life can be pretty poor & again are expensive.

i'm sure my colleagues on here would agree, Don't buy it!

If your budget allows go for an Canon IRAC 50xx series or even better the later IRAC 52xx series these are a good all round reliable work horse.
