    Canon CLC1150

Hi, I have a problem with a Canon CLC1150 copier. It is showing error code E061-0032 when it warms up. I have refered to the manual and performed all the troubleshooting steps indicated. Fault is related to the potential sensing and the charge assemblies (primary corna, etc). Replaced all parts suggested and still the problem persists.Through experience i checked also the environment sensor which seems to be working ok and also found out that the environment switch of the machine was switched off. I switched it on as suggested by the service manual, but still the problem persisted. Do i have to perform any setting after doing so? Any help regarding this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the VL and VD values under potential sensing in service mode?
Do the measured values match the target values?
Could be that the drum has failed...remember that they're an OPC drum and have a shorter lifespan than AS drums.

Hi, Tks for the reply. Can you please tell me under which service mode i have to go to check VD and VL. Went through all the service mode options and could not find them. I have to check the difference in voltage. I will also then check the drum. Thanks once again.

This could also be the Laser shutter, actuated by left front door. Remove top left front cover when door is open and make sure assembly is not loose or bent.Make interlocks and manually make sure shutter is properly actuated.

My experience tends to lean towards either the primary carona (incorrect hight/dirty etc) or a worn drum. but all of the above are sound. The code refers to no grid bias, could also check for grounding.

            CLC1150's

            Hello,

We have had a few of these in the field and have found that the connector on the back of the process unit that connects the unit to the rest of the machine can get worn causing all sorts of error codes. It is a good idea to check this and clean the connectors if possible and check for a good fit.
