    IR C2620

I need help with this donated machine to my niece's elementary school. I am not trained on Canon, and would need your opinion on whether
the machine is worth fixing or to trash.
The copies and print outs have a 'banding' front to rear that seem to repeat at various lengths.
The copy scanned in color but the print out shows B/W, but the 'banding' is in color on the original.
I neglected to get meter readings or firmware levels (which I am embarrassed to admit).
Thank you in advance for any insights, or help.

First_ looks like all Drums need replacement.
Drum usage check under counter is not reliable.

I like this printer, fuser unit not expensive, easy to replace.
Get a manual, learn about items to clean\ or that need inspection & replacement (feed rollers,ITB Sheet, ITB CLEANING BLADE.

I agree this is a good model, a little old now bit still worth spending money on to bring up to standard.

I would ask around on this site, find a local independent dealer or engineer who could swing by & give you a quick quote/estimate.

If the machine has been left unused in storage you may even find quality will improve once it's fully warmed up, run say 50 double side blank pages through it might help.
