Making an intermittent clicking noise while making copies. Wondering if there was a way to turn on individual motors and clutches to try to isolate it. Can't find anything in the manual. Thanks

Re: Canon IR3030 Clicking noise
Clicking noise is usually around fixing unit.Use service mode and inspect motors and clutches.(Read manual again)
COPIER>FUNCTION>PART-CHK
Be sure to remove the Toner Container before Bottle motor is activated. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Re: Canon IR3030 Clicking noise
You may be able to isolate noise with part check in service mode. Sometimes the main drive unit will make a noise. I have replaced a couple for noise. Don't think it was a click, more like a loud errrrrrr.Comment
