    Canon IR3030 Clicking noise

Making an intermittent clicking noise while making copies. Wondering if there was a way to turn on individual motors and clutches to try to isolate it. Can't find anything in the manual. Thanks

Clicking noise is usually around fixing unit.Use service mode and inspect motors and clutches.(Read manual again)

    COPIER>FUNCTION>PART-CHK

Be sure to remove the Toner Container before Bottle motor is activated.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

You may be able to isolate noise with part check in service mode. Sometimes the main drive unit will make a noise. I have replaced a couple for noise. Don't think it was a click, more like a loud errrrrrr.
