IR3570 with fuser error E000001.0002 and touch panel issue

IR3570 has error E000001.0002. Planned on checking fuser and resetting error inservice mode but remember that there is a touch panel issue and I probably won't be able to do a reset because touch panel probably won't respond. Customer had opted not to change several weeks ago as customer was having financial issues and wanted to hold off until in better financial shape. It looks like I will have to change panel in order to reset and if code doesn't reset then they will need fuser unit as well. I assume touch panel is only way to reset. If not can someone please give me an alternative. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

Thanks Teckat. I have a user for machine. If I change it will i still need to reset error or will new fuser take machine into ready? Frank

Even if you fit a new fuser you will need to reset the error. However I would fit a new touch screen first I bet you could then clear the error & not need to replace the fuser.

Thanks again guys. Was able to reset thru panel though it was a little tricky. The code kept coming back and there was grinding noise and jamming as well. i changed fuser and all is well. Frank
