    Canon IRA C2225 ITB Replacement

I have a new customer that wants me to service their Canon IRA C2225 machine. It's throwing an ITB fault. I ordered one from Precision Roller and would like some help on how to replace it. This is a new machine for me so I do not have a service manual yet. I see how easy it is to replace the fuser assy. so I am hoping that replacing the ITB won't be too complicated. Does it come out from the side where the fuser is or does it come out from the front of the machine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Juan

    What's the fault_?
    Error_?
Make sure ITB is engaging with the ITB coupling. When the right door is opened and closed, the ITB coupling should move back and forth.

The error is E000070-0000. I was able to run the ITB cleaning procedure from diagnostics and it seemed to help. Now the customer is calling back with the same problem.

Thanks a lot for the heads up on the blue handles. I figured that I needed to pull it out with those handles but I did not want to mess things up without knowing for sure. Again, thanks.

Just to add after opening the right hand door you need to push on the two tabs on the door support the allow the door to drop down further or you wont be able to remove the ITB, this then releases the patch sensor ass'y (clean this unit with an air duster etc) before replacing the ITB

There is a white patch on the ITB belt, if this is dirty you'll get an E070 error.

You need to disengage primary rolls before removing. Service mode COPIER/FUNC/MISC-P T1-UP will do it.
