    IRADV 5235i Mailbox printing

    Hi,
    I have 2 spec. during the Mail Box printing configuration on IRADV5235i. I would like to set Auto delete file immediately after print job is printing from mailbox. I can't find this type of configuration? The second problem witch I have is that I can't see the created Mail Box name in a driver on ''Output method''? See the attach image.

    Thank you
    Marko

    =======================================

    If the "Time Until File Auto Delete" for All Mail Box settings is grayed out within the Remote Operator Viewer, please access Settings / Registration > Function Settings > Store/Access Files > Mail box Settings > Settings for All Mail Boxes > [Time Until File Auto Delete] at the physical touch panel.

    On the imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series there is a menu selection whereby the time data is retained in a mailbox is controlled.
    The allowable range for this is incremental up to 30 days. The default recommended setting is 3 days.

    In order to change this, enter the menu by pressing the following keys.

    Settings/Registration > Function > Store/Access Files > Mailbox Settings > Settings for All Mailboxes

    Now select the option for Time Until File Auto Delete and the following selections will be revealed.

    0=off, 1, 2, 3, 6, 12 hours, 1, 2, 3, 7, 30 days.

    The starting point for this parameter is 3 days.

    Select any parameter required for Auto Deletion.

    If the process above is repeated, it may be observed that whatever value had been entered for the Time Until File Auto Deletion is not shown. The default value of 3 days is shown and it would appear that the time that was just set did not hold. For example the parameter was set for 30 days. When entering the menu for "Time Until Auto File Delete" the setting is back to 3 days as shown below.
    This would give the impression that the time setting did not hold.

    The value of 3 days shown here only represents the default value. It does not represent the current time set for Auto File Deletion.
    In order to verify the current setting for Time Until File Auto Deletion of a mailbox it will be necessary to view the current parameters for mailbox itself as shown.

    Set Auto Delete from mailbox on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series

    1) Select Settings/Registration on the copier's display.

    2) Select [Login].

    3) Enter the System Manager's ID as well as the System Pin.

    4) Select [login].

    5) Select [Function Settings].

    6) Select [Store/Access Files].

    7) Select [Mail Box Settings].

    8) Select [Settings for All Mailbox].

    9) Select [Time Until File Auto Delete].

    You have the option to choose from hours to days.

    Set from 0=Off 1, 2, 3, 6, 12hrs to 1, 2, 3, 7, 30days.

    10) Select OK.

    NOTE: The time interval you choose will be pushed out to each mailbox. If you return to this menu item it will revert back to the default of 3 days. However, this is only the display setting here, the individual mailboxes will reflect the correct time interval that you have established.

          I think secure print will delete the job once you print it out. Just specify a mailbox for the job to be held in, enter the code you specify at the time of printing in the dialog box and you are good to go.
          Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

                  We explained to the customer the difference between IRC 2380 and IRADV5235i. They have 2 possibilitys - secure print or manual delete after printing the job. The customer may decide which option will be accepted.

                  thank you
