    control panel

Having issues with a control panel touch screen, adv 5200 series. Is there a bulletin for the c/panel controller, as opposed to replacing the entire panel? I thought for sure there was, but wasn't able to find it. Seemed to me it involved replacing the controller and a firmware upgrade.
    Thanks!

There is a board on the back side of the control panel called CPU board. This board affects all the advance series for lock ups and touch screen problems. We used to replace touch screens but I replace the CPU now. It is easier to put in. I had a 2230 touch go bad and ordered new control panel. 6 months later same issue and found the CPU was not the updated one and replaced it and so far it has been over 6 months.

This is common on all Advance machines. I have seen on 2225,5200,4000 and 400/500 series. New boards now. The 5200 series is CPU PCB ASSEMBLY....FM1-R833. This is the improved board(old part number is FM4-9880). Be sure to install newest firmware also

Thanks, I know these touch screens are flaky, replaced many of them, I couldn't find the bulletin regarding the controller for the life of me. I replaced the panel with a used one for now, as the customer needed it to be fully running asap, but I'll be ordering that pcb for the old panel.
