Canon ir2525 Can't Start up!!!

Dear All

My machine Canon ir2525 /120 voltage, it can't startup. I already try to restart the machine many time, but some time it working but I can't not clear all in service mode(* 2 8 * > clear All). When I restart the machine agian it stuck again (can't start up).
please help me to solves this problem...

Is it throwing a Error Code? You say you are doing the Clear, why?

Start with cleaning and re-seating the Boot Rom,

re-seat connectors J210, J8112 & J8125, cut any wire ties on the related harness.


Try to re-seat the DIMM Assembly
There are several scenario's that may cause this condition:

1. If the Boot Rom is not seated properly or defective.
2. If the DC Controller is defective.
3. If J210 (DC Cont) / J8112 (Main Cont) is not connected.
4. If the Main Controller is defective.

Through testing, it was found that voltage was missing off J8125 (Main Controller) when the imageRUNNER is in the blank display, green led on and no rotation state.

On a fully working device, J8125 (Main Controller) measures as follows:

Pin 1 - 0v 7 - 5v
2 - 3.2v 8 - 5v
3 - 3.2v 9 - 5v
4 - 0v 10 - 0v
5 - 0v 11 - 24v
6 - 0v

When the iR is in Blank display, green led on and no rotation or if DC Controller or Boot Rom is defective or J210 or J8112 is not connected.
J8125 measures as follows:

Pin 1 - 0v 7 - 5v
2 - 3.2v 8 - 0v
3 - 3.3v 9 - 0v
4 - 0v 10 - 0v
5 - 0v 11 - 0v
6 - 0v


If the imageRUNNER is in the Blank Display state and listed voltage is missing on J8125, there is no way to isolate the issue to one of the listed components.

No Error code happend, I think many stuck document store in machine, so I try to clear all in the machine.

Thanks for your support, I try to change bootroom but still the same (Display startup Canon,but stoping) and also changed conector wire J210 too.

I had this problem.

Try to disconnect (unplug) the TCP/IP cable.

Now the machine is working.
After I do following support and I was eject the battery cable behind board, and then clearing all in service mode...
it's working ... even I try to restart machine many time...

maybe it's the case that you started a new discussion, however check the connections of the controller, dimm, connector.
