    E000100 on a IRC1022

Machine was making horrible color copies even after gradation adjustment and color correction. It is in a
very dirty environment so I brought it into our shop for cleaning. I took out the laser assembly and carefully
took the cover off of it to clean the mirrors. Reassembled the copier and now it throws out that code.

Not sure if that is a fuser code or related the laser. I checked all my connections and everything seems fine.

I know these machines display extra 0's in their error codes but normally they are easy to figure out. Not
    this one.

It doesn't show any dash for sub code.

Yes this E100 error is related to the laser.
I'd remove it again & check all your connections, some of the ribbon cables are fragile & get damaged easily

Checked everything on the laser unit and all seemed okay. I replaced the ribbon cables and all is well.

Thanks!! Not a fun task to get the thing apart and reassembled but that's why we get the big bucks?..lol
