    [Error Code] Canon iRC3080i - Err E000747-621b

    Good Morning,

I have a canon iRC3080i that had run a multitude of E747 errors with a couple varying sub codes this last week. I cleaned and reseated the Sub boards from information I found on the forum from other threads. I also check the connectors and reseated them as well. I see this is related to a communication error.

The machine still starts to the error code: E000747-621b now and no other sub codes. Wondering if someone can provide some insight on this sub code for me this morning.

    Thanks, -Dan

Not quite sure if this is related but there was a Scan to email that was processing on the machine that I could barely see start before the error screen appears.

    Thanks, -Dan

try an MN CONT clear, if you can print out a p print first, if not be sure to reenter the door specs

9/10 this is just a poor connection. Remove ALL connections inc the ram & dim modules, clean the all the contacts with alcohol etc

Thanks for the Direction but looks like this one was a 1/10.

There was a corrupt scan to email job, No idea how it happened. Ended up doing an HD-CLEAR on Partition 1 (Image Partition) to clear the job and the machine booted up normal. It got a Hefty PM due to pulling and reseating all the connectors and cleaned the contacts on all the sub boards, Ram etc..

Appreciate the Help again guys. Guess this one was a special circumstance, Had me scratching my head for a while.

          Thanks, -Dan
