[CQ] imagePRESS C6000 - Light image, operator side.

    Hi guys

I have a C6000 in the field that appears to have a light image on the front side of the image. It is mostly noticeable in black, but I guess if you try hard enough you could see it in other colours. The customer does a lot of 12x18/13x19 so it has become a problem that they cannot work around anymore.

Within the last 3 months there was a total PM done on the machine - this includes:

    4 drums
    P-kit refurb
    Dev restarts
ITB refurb (primary roller units, secondary inner roller, belt, etc)
    Fuser PM (both)
    Secondary outer transfer roller replaced
    Primary corona units replaced

About 2 months ago, the black developer unexpectedly failed...the machine was printing a lot of black only and it appeared to have exhausted itself. We replaced with new dev, all seemed okay density-wise.

Still seems to have a light section at the front.

I have swapped lasers without the cyan unit but no change.

    See attached...

The PG5 black was at max density! In person it looks pretty chalky to me.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers
