we are slowly having problems with this model suddenly not being able to
scan to email.
customer call in for scan to email issue and the technician did all
necessary troubleshooting at the customers place:
check:
network settings tested ok
dns settings tested ok (can ping google server)
email settings checked ( server, authentication, port) all OK
tested using gmail & company email ( email testing account ) send failed #752
tested using a no authentication mail server ( email testing account ) send failed #752
restores the machine to factory settings and reconfigured all the
settings.
still error #752 cannot connect
we pulled other ir2270 and ir2870 from the workshop and tested it,
both were unable to do a "scan to email" even thou it was
able to "scan to email" previously (based on the send log).
tested other canon models with the same settings and all results are OK.
scan to file is working OK
any idea on what might be causing this particular model to fail in sending email?
