2270 vs 3225 feed tires

rather new to these items. was wondering if the feed tire with the gear FB6-3406 and FC6-7083 are inter changeable?

fb6-3406 is the old roller and Canon is not making them any longer. Whenever stock runs out in the warehouses you will have to start using fc6-7083. The fc6-7083-000 is a better roller and normally gets 3X the life of the fb6-3406

Use FC0-5080-000 this is the very latest feed roller, they have a ribbed coating. I've seen these do over 100k they wear right down but still feed fine!. Finally Canon have started using excellnt feed rollers!

and use the FB6-3405 pickup roller, also ribbed.

agree with the last 2 posts but what ever you do don't use the 5080 as a sep roller! It says separation roller on the packet but they just shred and leave a pile of rubber in the machine.

I order RM1-0037-020 or FC6-6661, doesn't seem to be a ribbed subsitute for it, guess your post explains why

Running a Advanced 5051 in the shop with a set of Hewlett Packard rollers as a lark. They work fine, though won't last as long. Can't remember the number. The fc0-5080 are great feed tires.
