    IR2525 Light header

    I have replaced the drum unit, cleaned all the scanner glass and this IR still has a light header only in copy not in print and ive cleaned the optic any ideas? thank you

    Misstake, there is a light shaded area on the paper in the print,I have checked the dv rollers, they both look clean, there is dv all the way across the dv roller, is there a laser lens some where to be cleaned?
    new drum unit installed....thanks

      Yes there is a laser in this copier. It is under the output tray and probably is dirty along one edge of all the mirrors in it.

        you mean inside the laser? I cleand the outside lens, can this be removed from the top by taking the out put tray off?

          Transfer Roller may be out of position.

          Check the Pins that holds the transfer roller in place.
          SEE EXAMPLE -------->of undamaged rear side Transfer Hinge Pin



          The part numbers for the Transfer Hinge Pin are as follows:
          FC5-1536-000, Transfer Hinge Pin (Rear)
          FC0-4340-000, Transfer Hinge Pin (Front)

            Yes you can remove laser by taking the output tray off and it is under it. The cover comes off laser and you can clean the mirrors VERY CAREFULLY.

              Yes these pins come out very often. Do a skyshot or test5 and open the door while paper passes by drum. Light on drum image...laser,charge,dev,etc. Not light on drum would be transfer
