    I think I will order new Dev. assy as well as new toner. Will keep you guys posted about the outcome. I don't see any other option.

    For someone who asked about primary charging, it's installed brand new. Problem is the same.

          Just to follow up that 6555 was doing this as well. Entire dev was the solution.

          *machine count was less than 150k

          Drum bias leaks would have streaks, dev bias fault is uneven density

            The contacts on dv unit get bent down and don't make good contact. Bend contacts back up and it may solve that problem. I've had it happen. Hopefully you didn't throw the old one away.
