[CQ] IRC7055 I - Streaks and no Cyan

    Hi,

I havent been to the IRC7055 yet, another tech was there today but could not resolve the issues. He forwarded me the samples, I havent seen one of these machines in a year or so, but I am suspecting that if no cyan is present, maybe the charge roller in the ITB could be out of position, had that a couple of times before, would this cause the streaks as well ??, due to the ITB belt not moving correctly? Ill attach the samples, any help will be appreciated.

Cyan drum likely has a broken coupling gear at the back of the drum. That's a common test print for that condition. The drag on the drive causes the adjacent colors to smear as well.

      Hi,

just an update, went to the machine today and as ROHO said, the coupling in the rear of the cyan drum had broken, one piece of white plastic floating around at the end of the drum. Have ordered a new drum and will be fitted tomorrow...will keep you posted...tks

No problem, fairly common issue on these.
