    CANON IR ADVANCE C2225

I am looking for a gear that is on the #1 paper cassette. It is a 8 tooth gear and i am having a hard time finding this part and or part number. It is not a round gear, but kind of shaped like a slice of pizza!! It meshes with a round gear that makes contact with the paper lift motor. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thx in advance

It the book, #20 in the image below is: Gear, 30T p/n:FE2-0623-000, but if you try to order it Canon has an updated part number and description so what you're probably looking for is:

    Gear, 8T p/n: FE4-3901-000

    Good Luck!

Mita had the same shitty plastic gear on an analog machine years ago (DC-2556/DC-3055), after 2 or 3 revisions they finally went with a metal gear as well.

Had the same issue this morning. No paper from tray1. No lift either...
Customer: "Oh, ehh, we found this plastic thing in tray 2.." and shows me the 8T gear...
"The tray made some noise when we put it back after adding some paper.."

Thanks to you guys we now ordered the new FE4-3901 one... Wondering why one is called 30T and the other one 8T though...

          [edit: mixed up the partno's]
