    Re: IR 50000

The jam code is for a delay jam at the internal delivery sensor (PS35). Paper is not getting to the delivery sensor at the specified time. This sensor is located after the fuser rollers and the internal delivery rollers then paper would pass over the PS35 sensor. See attachment. If you are getting a skew first check the paper guides in the paper supply draw and then look at the paper path for anything that looks out of place and possibly paper or something foreign in the paper path. Good luck! Hope this helps.

      Re: IR 50000

      I have three records:

Misfeeds (jam code 0110) on the bed, in the vertical path, and possibly in the duplexer (if duplexing). Delay at internal delivery sensor PS35. The frame tab on the front or rear of the transport unit may be bent, which controls the height of the pre-transfer guide. Remove the transport unit. Reform the frame tabs to raise the pretransfer guide (FF5-5902-020). The rear tab can be bent in the feed direction to raise the guide. The front tab can be bent upward to raise the guide.

Misfeeds (jam code 0110, 0111) on the bed. The paper jams under the drum and sometimes folds under the drum. The lead edge of the copy bounces in the grooves of the bed belts. Delay at internal delivery sensor PS35. Jams look like poor separation, but are not. Gear 45T on the upper fuser roller and gear 31/pulley 41 may be worn or broken, allowing the bed belts to stall (400k copies). Replace gear 45T (FS7-0666-000) and gear 31/pulley 41 (new style-gray, FS5-3809-020).

Misfeeds (jam code 0110) two pages on the bed, in the vertical path, and possibly in the duplexer (if duplexing). Delay at internal delivery sensor PS35. The screws for the drum claw assembly become loose, and the drum claw assembly hangs down into the paper path. Amazingly single sided copies are not affected. Reassemble the drum claw assembly and tighten the screws. The drum claws and springs may be found in the separation charger or in the bed fan duct.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Re: IR 50000

I had similar problem when duplexing, after fusing paper enter duplex unit sometimes jams imediately, sometimes went through duplex and produce skewed 2nd side image.
Problem was on exit unit after fuser (there is green handle to raise unit with separation claws to remove jamed paper); handle was broken but deatached spring of handle shaft on front side which locks down that unit cause the issue. Paper was not evenly pressed and jam or skew was result of that.

But this issue certainly not affect single side mode.
