    Irc 3200 error e602-0202

    Hi,all
I got E602-0202 When I was booting up the machine. This error showed up just after standby screen came out only 2 seconds. I've already switched HDD with another one from working machine, but same error. I don't want to format and reload firmware on HDD coz I don't think it is bad.Are there any other reasons caused this error? Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

If, after checking and replacing the Hard Drive and the Main Controller the problem is not resolved, suspect a faulty SRAM PCB.The SRAM PCB is a contolled item so you would have to contact Canon to get one.
Thats about all i could find on that particular code.

HDD might be fine, but filmware could be corrupted, so at least give it a try!

Sorry hit the wrong key, before finished!, cont, swapping the HDD with a know working can generate error code if different filmware from boot ROM, did you put the original HDD on a know working machine to elimate HDD?

Never actually had a 3200 drive die but the procedure will be the same as for a 5000 5.25 ide drive.

Clear RAM of the SRAM in service mode [COPIER> Function> CLEAR> MN-CON].
If the symptom still recurs, replace the SRAM Board PCB with a new one.
Note: Clearing the RAM or replacement of the SRAM Board PCB will erase all the image data inside the HDD.
