Canon ir 1028IF driverinstall deletes all printdrivers at win2003 server. no printing

    [Dead] Canon ir 1028IF driverinstall deletes all printdrivers at win2003 server. no printing

    How do I survive this issue? After unsuccesfull driver installing: it did not properly instal, and prog. hung during instal..
    I deleted driver only with program delete function, there is no uninstaller.. BUT reinstall doesn't work now.

    also ALL printer drivers are disappeared...from this TS server

    Now I tried several different canon driver installations, (all from canon website)
    When I try to install these: installer doesn't work, but keeps asking to start installing again, of use a canon driver installer helper program.
    Where can I find this helper program. google...not.

      We got extra support: the install of the driver did more harm as expected:
      and it looked so nice: canonsite winserver 2003; pick and chose driver, download and install...
      result:
      Some services are done.
      We needed to restore printer server.. won't work now!
      we needed to restore printspooler wont work now.

      seems register has problems: now NO printer can be installed at all. even a pdf printer...

      advice: replace back-up of full server... is a no advice...I think. But Canon specialist got grey hair and didnotknow what to do more..

      So will the real specialist stand up?!!
