I did all of the above like you said.
Version of Service Support Tool: SSTv475Ep / Version firmware: iR2230HD_US_3101
1. Select the model to connect (iR2230HD)
2. Select single ( I even tried batch download)
3. Press start
4. 5. Second window comes up (To use HDD, It must be initialized. Start Initialization? Yes, initialize
6. Pink window appears. In upper right corner of the window it says E240 and in the window following:
Error response:Process has ended in error.

i am facing the same problem while installing New Hard Drive

i am installing new hdd of canon IR3570
and reinstalling the firmware
but it gives the same above error

SST version shows
Service Support Tool DLMO (Ver. 4.81E)
Firmware Version : iR2270_v41.01.01


What can be done to correct it

i can get you hdd with the system to work as soon you install it

Good day!

I have a Copier Canon ir2230 and want to get a Printer.
I purchased BootROM "P" for Printer and HDD.
I also have: soft SST and manual, but i don't have a firmware.
Can someone help me, send an email milnick96@gmail.com
