does the remote operation viewer works with old photocopiers like CANON IR 3570 or CANON IR 3300
i am having these types of machines. i am eager to know if the software is compatable with both the machines
IF YES Please guide me how to enable the option and use it

RUI setting under Additional Functions > System Settings > REMOTE UI ---set "ON"


On your PC, open up a browser and enter the ip address of your copier so the RUI can open.


Firmware is different between these to series-

iR 2270/4570/3570/2870

iR 3300/2800/2200

i am using RUI for both the machines

but i want to use them via REMOTE OPERATION VIEWER

but every time i try to connect via the software it says

"could not connect to the device of the specified address.
do you want to try to connect again?"

but when i try with a browser RUI
it works

On this two model you can not use remote viewer i believe.

If I remember password input is necessary when it is set.

The setting method of the password
Settings/Registration > Management Settings > License/Other > Remote Operation Settings > On
Default is "None".

ps: IR and IRA are different viewers.

the remote operator kit requires the purchase of a license key that needs to be installed on each copier

I highly doubt the kit would be available for machines that old, even with the latest and greatest firmware.

They are just too different.

So, I'm surprised the iR3570 supports it.

I see the iR3300 does not.

I doubt anyone would be interested in paying for the kit, though, at least not at this point.
