    [Misc] Replacing Hard Disk of IR3300

    Hi All

    I am having CANON IR 3300
    with HDD capacity of 5.6 GB
    what is the maximum extendable capacity of HARD DISK
    can i install 40GB ??
    if yes please HOW to do it ??

    same question for CANON IR3570

    Canons are notorious for only accepting SPECIFIC hard drives. Hytec sells HDD's that work.

    IR 3300 - Part# FK2-4907-000

    IR 3570 - part # WM2-5199-000

      5.1GBHDD

      The imageRUNNER 2200 / 2800 / 3300 / 3300i:

      They have an internal 5.1 GB or 10 GB hard drive that is shared for copy/print/fax functions.
      The hard drive can hold approximately 3,700 originals for copying, printing, and faxing functionality.

          I used up to 20 gig drives on iR3300 many moons ago when they were in production.
          Then we would modify the system software
          Bigger drives would end up with missing functions

            You can use non Canon HDD in IR3300 but you have to modify the HDFormat ift file...tell customer its time to upgrade. I used the small Seagate hard drives in 3300s

                3570 ==
                20 GB
