    [Error Code] IRADV6055 E001-0002 and E001-0010

    Hi,

We're having iR-ADV6055 machines which give once in a while the error code E001-0002, followed (after restart machine by customer) by E001-0010. When resetting the error, the machine can be restarted and will run for several weeks, until the next occurrence of the same errors. There does not seem to be a jam before the error, it happens during a run. Wiring and thermistors seem OK and wiring does not seem to be trapped. Firmware is upgrading (MN-CONT 50.01). The machine has 800K print. Fixing and ALL thermistors is rebuil 200K prints ago. The connectors on the fixing unit (BIG ONE) and on machine looks all good. Any ideas?

How's the power at the location? Power issues and brownouts often cause fuser errors, I've had a few accounts where the power was causing these errors.

Typical Canon, had loads over the years that throw random E000x errors, even from new.

If you've checked the basics, e.g the machine is not plugged into an extension lead (should be plugged directly into the wall) also high powered electrical items near by that can cause this, e.g oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer etc etc etc

I usually show my customers how to reset this error, usually an Admin user or on site I.T i'm happy to share this information with.
