    [CQ] Canon IR7095 quality problem

Hi I wonder if anyone has seen this image quality problem, attached is a scan of a document, if you look closely you will see some of the text is fatter than it should be, this happens about every five or six prints and seems to form a line down the page, the paper was fed portrait by the way. I have swopped the developer unit, rebuilt the fuser new bearings, gears etc. Everything seems to run smoothly but I suspect it may be a drive problem, this machine has done six million prints.

Look in the registration area. Most likely it is a reg clutch or cover or brake clutch or the rollers themself.

There is a big white plastic gear on the back side of the drum.

You can reach from the back of the copier. You need to remove the counter weight to see it.

        You need to replace that.

Actually you should have changed that previously
