Prints looks wavy from leading to trail edge. Grounding contact on steel registration roller may cause poor contact. Replacement of leaf spring (Part number FC5-1564-000) resolve the problem.
I recommend lubricating registration roller shaft inside the bushings. Recently had a senior tech show me the same issue, and he said that took care of the problem. Was that LTR or LTRR? If LTRR disregard as my comment wouldn't make sense.
I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.
Remove the ground clip Raman showed. Bias it inward against the roll after cleaning it with sandpaper and applying black conductive grease to it. Never oil it for a squeak. Re-install it. The roll generates electrical noise to the Dcon which controls laser driver. Seen it many times...sometimes machine will log laser errors...E100,E110
thanks for that post. I have found a couple of those making annoying noise due to low grease. Always caught them and lubed them up quick with die electric. That's really wild that clip can do that! : )
