Canon Imagerunner 1023if Blank Streaks

Good Afternoon guys,
I have a customer that has a Canon IR1023IF that has blank streaks....I have replaced drum and dev. unit...can I clean the laser/and if so how do I remove it?

You can simply clean the laser glass while it is still in the machine, just open the shutter with a flat blade & clean with a moist cloth.
