    iRADV4035

    Hi guys

    I have 2 units iradv4035 problem the panel display is like freezing and hang no respond. Everything is like normal the machine can boot up and ready to copy. But when you press the numeric keypad sometimes it will slow respond or it wil no respond at all. Even you press the display LCD for any function its also same problem.

    We have swap HDD, Main Con 1, whole panel assembly display but is still the same. Anyone can enlighten me what else to check. Thank you

      Usually the Control Panel CPU board, though you have swapped the whole unit. Be sure to disconnect and then reconnect all connectors on Main Con 1 and Main Con 2.

          I see this on IRA 4200,5200,2200,etc series. Never on IRA 4000,5000,etc. Is it a 4035 0r 4235? And yes..it is control panel cpu pcb that fixes it. Canon has modified the boards...new part numbers. I also had a 4025 doing similar. It was main con2...telltale sign was it would not let me flash the HDD. I have also had on 5200 series freezing up...tried all of the above...fix was to press test button on circuit breaker, reset breaker a few times. Never did it again. There is a USA Canon bulletin about it I believe

              Thank you for enlighten me. I swap again with another panel assembly from another machine(3rd unit machine) and it works. I have order the parts for panel CPU p.c.b.

              I think I have 2 units with defective panel CPU p.c.b

                  This seems to be the fix for the advanced series. The CPU board is a lot cheaper than a control panel. I ordered a control panel for a 2030 because it was slow or would freeze. Six months later same thing. By then we had figured out it was the CPU and the new control panel had the old style CPU in it.

                      I have issue with my same copier canon ir adv 4035, after clearing all thing i.e. hdd, ram etc.
                      my service menu display screen get shorten. please guide me to restore the size of service menu.

                          Anyone know what caused this? When i cleaned developer magnet sleeve roller it only make 20or less copies. After that it becomes like first picture
