i am using SST ver4,81e and i am trying to install the firmware but i am getting an internal error 124 whatever i try to pass from pc to ir any ideas?

What HDD are you using?

hi there,

i have used many deferent hd
IBM dmca-21080 1080mb
IBM DARA-218000 18gb
hitachi travelstar HTS548040M9AT00 40gb
toshiba MK6014MAP HDD2144

and all of the they give me the same error message

the one that i had to replace was a HITACHI Travelstar IC25N020ATMR04-0 20GB

If you are using USB to Parallel interface you are likely to face challenges.
That model work better with Bicentronics cable.
