Had that once. I forgot to change out that guide FC8-5043 and move it to the new fixing film. I was convinced I got a bad fixing film. Only time I did that. Would feed black ok but jam on color. One of the many slap forehead moments.

I've had that and it was bad toner. Replacing the developer unit helps but there is still contaminated toner in the hopper and that end up contaminating the developer and it comes back again. Change DV and pull hoppers out and vacuum out.

        Classic pirate toner issue.

You can monitor the fuser temp in service mode so can rule out heat issue (you would get an error code if the temp dropped too low anyway)

My cases were all OEM toner. Never used generic in a color machine.

Agree with the non genuine toner, also upgrade the firmware.

I've heard of some counterfeit "Genuine" Canon toner. Do the toner boxes have the holographic Canon sticker on them?

                Are you using OEM toner?

Had a 7260 with bad black toner the lady ordered online (very cheap too). It would not fuse. Colors ok. It had the sticker but looked suspicious. I agree you have to vacuum the hopper.
