[Dead] Canon iPF6400 Blank LCD Screen

I have a 6400 which powers on and cycles up normally (Tanks agitate, carriage moves etc...)
The LCD panel lights up, but doesn't show anything. The green LED's behind the power button don't light up.
The only button that appears to work on the panel is the power button.

I can connect via the web interface and everything looks normal, the only error codes I see are low/empty ink and a paper jam.
When I try to load paper, it pulls it in, scans the width, then pulls the paper back behind the rollers, then beeps (which I assume is the paper jam error that gets reported)

I have replaced the power supply assembly and this hasn't solved the issue.

I was thinking it would be the worst case scenario.
I don't really want to spend $600 on a part and then it turns out to be something else.
I guess because it powers on and the carriage moves, detecting the paper etc... I was hoping the main board would be all right.
