Happy Monday all. Working ona 4245 today with a lockes startup screen. On friday it was locked up at the startup screen. Today there is only the white trail on the bottom of a black screen . No codes and machine is unresponsive. This canon is a one off in our fleet and im not very familiar with it. Any help would definetly be appreciated

Sounds like the hard drive may be going out. You can try running the scandisk feature in the Canon. Most of the Canon's I've seen have this feature, you press and hold 1+9 until you see little white boxes coming from the top of the screen to the bottom.

Gave that a try and no response. I think that I can dig up the manual but do you have any tips for replacing the hard drive?

The cpu board in the control panel can go bad and I believe that is the symptom. I don't think it's that expensive
