It could be the Torque Limiter (FC5-3657-000) in the tray causing this or tray "B" DC Motor (4K1-1102-000) preventing tray to move to home position

Error :

Finisher Error Code E500-FF21 is displayed on the Control Panel. Also, there are some 1104 Jam Codes noted in the jam history.


Workaround :

A possible solution is to investigate the operation of the Torque limiter shown below in Figure Q11 item number 60. In the past, replacing the torque limiter has resolved this issue.

The Part Number for the torque limiter is FC5-3657-000.
