Did you checked the toner lock/unlock lever if there is a broken? try to cover the photo interrupter if working or not....... if not try to check and clean.....

Possibly toner in the photointerrupt for the door...its blocked by the toner so it thinks door is closed. Pop the front cover off(screw under toner door and one on top under rubber plug at left corner near finisher). Slide cover to left to remove. Should be able to see sensor now
