Removing the Control Panel on a canon ir 2880

Hi Copytechnet,

Does anyone have instructions or a service manual for the ir2880, I am trying to replace the control panel. I have found the two screws on the right hand side fixing the control panel to the printer but I still cant remove it. Looking at the replacement control panel there shouldnt be any other screws holding the unit. I would rather not apply force and risk damaging the printer.

when the screws are removed you can move it to the right and remove cables first remove right front cover

Hidden screw on lefthand side of control panel, hidden behind a rubber grommet. I know from experience!
