    IRA c5030 Magenta Mis-registration

I'm seeing a strange problem with a Canon c5030. The machine has 390K copies and I'm pretty sure the developing units have never been replaced. Replacing the magenta drum had no effect. Could this be coming from a worn out magenta dev unit?

I also notice that a patch of magenta toner was on the fusing sleeve and the pressure roller.
Note also the thin patch of magenta at the very top of the page.
It looks like the magenta is starting before it should and being sort of dragged along, causing the magenta bars to be spread out and too light.
    An ITB problem perhaps?

    Hi

yes I would replace the magenta Dev first as from you pg10 print looks weak and do full colour calibration and run colour mismatch

Today I replaced the magenta dev unit. Problem solved.
