Customer has a 1730i. Had stripped out fuser gears. On first visit after I put the fuser back in it cycled for quite some time. I opened the left side covers, fooled around a little bit trying to make a copy and it went to a ready state and started working again. Went back out today and installed new fuser and when I turned the machine back on it just kept cycling at a ready state. Tell it to print a report and it just puts it in the que. Tell it to make a copy and it just waits. Not on network right now and disconnected fax line. Deleted pending send faxes. Not sure if it holds received faxes in memory, could not find how to delete them if there was any. Right now it says memory is at 99% free. The processing light was on but after deleting everything it is now off. Put old fuser back in, just cycles at a ready state. Remote IU isn't really reporting anything. If I have the door open it says the machine has a maintenance message if I shut the door it goes back to a ready state.
