[CQ] very light copies

i have tried to fix Canon ir 1024 copy quality but it has not been cleared.
i open the dev box checked all the bais connections still get light copies, even changed toner.
what can i do to improve the copy quality

are prints also light

or are both copies and prints light
if on both-----------


make sure left door is latching properly,
if not, this will allow ambient light into the imageRUNNER. & cause issue.

Check that all 3 latches on the door are not broken.

also if light on both-----------------Copies, prints, internal prints and received faxes are light.make sure --->Transfer Roller Bias Tab is not missing on the Transfer frame assembly.

How many copies are on the drum unit? Just asking.

it would help us to know:

what has been done to the machine recently.
what are the life % on drums/toners/developers/belt/transfer unit

have you cleaned the laser lens?
