[Dead] Replace disk on C5051i with encryption board

Hi i have a machine C5051i with a dead disk, how do you replace the disk in it.
I can create a new disk in sst if connect it before the encryption board.
But if i connect the disk after the board and try to format it it fails.
Ive tried reinstalling the the os before the encryption board and moving it after the board and then saying that its not a new disk and that ive installed the encryption module but it fails after that aswell.

Do I need to clear the tpm or something similar before reinstalling?

    ??????

Unable to format and flash the hard drive, after installing a Hard Drive Encryption Kit. There is also an E602-0001 code occurring at power on with the hard drive encryption kit is installed.

    Solution :

In this case, running HD-CRYP in service mode resolved the error code and the hard drive was able to be formatted and flashed. Perform HD-CRYP in Level 1 service mode: Copier > Function > Install > HD-CRYP.

    Note:
Remove the Encryption board, when performing the above. The software will need to be flashed without the board attached, to perform HD-CRYP, then again with the board attached

Hi thanks it worked, it seems like when using the encryption board its more fuzzy about the disks than without. I was using a wd blue disk, it woked well when connected directly to the printer but not when using the encryption board.
After several failures i took a disk from another machine and tried formatting and encrypting which solved it.
