Poor Color Prints on heavy paper

    Poor Color Prints on heavy paper

    IRADV C5030 Seems to be only on heavy paper. The samples shown are blue but it does the same with any color or black.

    I am thinking IT belt, fusing or transfer. Seems to be only one side of the page. Customer is far away so I was looking for

    The first image is on regular weight paper. The second on heavy paper.

    Changing the the paper setting to Heavy 2 made no difference.

      Canon has never solved this problem.
      The IRA series will never print on heavy paper such as CLC or IP.
      I would stick the pdf remedy but I can't.it's only 6 MB

          I used the same paper on our machine here and it printed fine.

          I know there was a change at some point in the IT belt They went with

          a thinner belt, but I don't remember the reason.

          I did the heavy paper auto gradation adjustment and that made no difference.

                  Always face this probelm with no soultion changed itb drum ,clear dc ,change everything and still same

                      You can adjust secondary transfer settings for heavy paper in service mode, HV-TR, give that a try.

                          i swapped out the ITB Assembly and the problem went away. Thanks for the suggestions!!

                                      there is a bulletin about this on sims mottled effect on heavy paper, they have modified the springs behind the transfer roller secondary on the door, ill try and find the bulletin when i get home, quite a while ago as far as i remember.

                                          Old news...install new style transfer rolls, thin itb, roller holders, etc. Make sure paper is registered properly. Swapping itb fixed it you say....upgrade your itb assembly with mods then re-install it. Don't forget to tell machine it has new STYLE itb and rollers in service mode
