    IR Avance C3520

    I have canon IR ADVC3520 copier that will make me always please wait on the screen at 99% starting. It's a new machine for me and i have any Ideas but for others canon copiers the problem can be HDD or systeme.Thank you for your help.

        I'd start with a boot up diagnostic / box check.

        Code:
        Turn on the main power switch while pressing the numeric keys ‘2’ and ‘4’ simultaneously.
        That will give you some PCB chip checks and a HDD read/write test. (should roughly be around 100Mb/s)

        If that all checks out maybe try a 'overwrite all' update via USB.

              See if you can enter service mode, usually you can when the line gets that far, check for error codes in history or if one is still active. If you see a stuck error it may help tip you to what you should do next. You could also try a MMI clear in service mode as well and reboot.

                I do the diagnostic and the result is OK so I think I can change the HDD and download the firware. So I want the kind of hdd I can use and who can help me with the firmware. Thank you for your helps.

                  IF the result is OK I don't see the point of replacing the HDD.
                  I'd start with a overwrite all reload of the software, and go from there.
