I have canon IR ADVC3520 copier that will make me always please wait on the screen at 99% starting. It's a new machine for me and i have any Ideas but for others canon copiers the problem can be HDD or systeme.Thank you for your help.

I'd start with a boot up diagnostic / box check.
Code:Turn on the main power switch while pressing the numeric keys ‘2’ and ‘4’ simultaneously.

See if you can enter service mode, usually you can when the line gets that far, check for error codes in history or if one is still active. If you see a stuck error it may help tip you to what you should do next. You could also try a MMI clear in service mode as well and reboot.Comment

IF the result is OK I don't see the point of replacing the HDD.
